Kajabi® Pricing: How Much Does Kajabi® Really Cost in 2026?

Disclosure: I am not an employee or representative of Kajabi®, LLC. I am an independent Kajabi® Partner and I receive referral payments from Kajabi® in this role. All opinions expressed herein are my own and are not official statements of Kajabi® or any party affiliated with Kajabi®.

Kajabi® currently costs $179 per month for Basic, $249 per month for Growth and $499 per month for Pro when you pay monthly.

Choose annual billing and the effective monthly prices fall to $143, $199 and $399 respectively. Kajabi® describes this as a 20% saving.

But those headline prices don't necessarily tell you how much Kajabi® will actually cost you.

Payment processing, the way you take payments and optional extras can all affect the final cost.

There's also a bigger question:

How much of Kajabi® are you actually going to use?

If Kajabi® genuinely replaces several other pieces of software, its relatively high subscription price can look much more reasonable.

If you end up paying for Kajabi® while continuing to use separate systems for most of your website, email marketing, funnels and other functions, the calculation looks very different.

So rather than simply asking “How much does Kajabi® cost?”, we think the more useful question is:

What will Kajabi® actually cost for the way you intend to use it — and are you getting enough value in return?

Pricing checked: 24 August 2026

Kajabi® has changed its plans and pricing over time. You may therefore encounter older Kajabi® pages and third-party articles showing different prices. The figures in this guide have been checked against Kajabi®'s current public pricing information.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billingAnnual saving
Basic$179/month$143/month$432
Growth$249/month$199/month$600
Pro$499/month$399/month$1,200

If you keep the same plan for a full year, that means:

Basic: $2,148 paying monthly versus $1,716 annually.

Growth: $2,988 paying monthly versus $2,388 annually.

Pro: $5,988 paying monthly versus $4,788 annually.

Those are substantial differences, although annual billing obviously requires you to commit considerably more money upfront. Kajabi® currently advertises annual billing as a 20% saving.

Why might you have seen different Kajabi® prices online?

If you've already researched Kajabi® pricing, you may have encountered different figures.

There's a good reason for that.

Kajabi® changed its pricing structure substantially around the beginning of 2026. Existing customers moved to new pricing from 13 January 2026, while Kajabi® also introduced revised plans, limits and features. Existing customers weren't necessarily required to migrate from their legacy plan structure.

The result is that old pricing information remains surprisingly easy to find.

For example, one older Kajabi® article still refers to Basic at $149 per month, Growth at $199 and Pro at $399. Those are not the prices shown on Kajabi®'s current main pricing page.

That's why we'd recommend checking the live Kajabi® pricing page before making a purchasing decision rather than relying on an older review or search result.

What do you get with Kajabi® Basic?

Kajabi® Basic currently costs $179 per month, or $143 per month when billed annually.

Its principal limits include:

  • 5 products
  • 2,500 contacts
  • 1 website
  • 1 community
  • 2 admin users

In simple terms, your contact allowance is the number of people you can store in Kajabi® as contacts — for example, people who have joined your email list or become customers.

Kajabi® also includes unlimited marketing emails, landing pages and funnels across its current plans.

For many smaller businesses, five products could be perfectly adequate.

A coach, for example, might have a flagship programme, a smaller digital product and a membership without getting anywhere near the product limit.

The more likely constraints could be your 2,500-contact allowance, the number of people who need administrative access, or particular functionality you need as the business becomes more sophisticated.

Who is Basic likely to suit?

We'd look seriously at Basic if you're running a relatively straightforward knowledge-based business and don't expect to exceed its limits soon.

But there's another question we'd ask before choosing it:

Do you actually need Kajabi® at all?

Someone with one simple course, a very small audience and relatively basic marketing requirements might fit comfortably inside Basic's limits — while still finding $179 every month difficult to justify.

That's an important distinction.

Basic being the cheapest Kajabi® plan doesn't necessarily make Kajabi® the cheapest solution for a basic business.

What do you get with Kajabi® Growth?

Growth currently costs $249 per month, or $199 per month billed annually.

Its principal limits increase substantially:

  • 50 products
  • 25,000 contacts
  • 1 website
  • 1 community
  • 11 admin users

Growth also adds more advanced automation — rules that allow Kajabi® to take certain actions automatically when a customer does something — as well as the ability to remove Kajabi® branding.

For an established coach, consultant, educator or creator with several products and a meaningful email database, this may be where Kajabi®'s all-in-one proposition starts becoming considerably more interesting.

At this stage, you may genuinely need:

email marketing,

landing pages,

sales funnels,

course or programme delivery,

a community,

payments,

automations,

and access for other members of your team.

If Kajabi® is genuinely performing several of those jobs, comparing $249 with the price of a single course-hosting platform isn't particularly useful.

You need to compare it with the combined cost and complexity of the systems it could realistically replace.

What do you get with Kajabi® Pro?

Kajabi® Pro currently costs $499 per month, or $399 per month when billed annually.

The headline limits increase again:

  • Unlimited products
  • 100,000 contacts
  • 3 websites
  • 3 communities
  • 26 admin users

Pro also adds capabilities aimed at more sophisticated businesses, including the Branded Mobile App, API access and the Custom Code Editor. The Branded Mobile App is included with Pro but currently costs $199 per month as an add-on for Basic and Growth.

That's a serious software bill: $5,988 per year if you pay monthly, or $4,788 on annual billing.

So we wouldn't assume that an established or successful business automatically belongs on Pro.

The relevant question is whether you actually need the additional limits and capabilities.

If Growth comfortably accommodates your products, contacts, website, community and team, upgrading simply because your business has become successful wouldn't make much sense.

Buy the capacity and functionality you need, not the status of the plan.

What else can Kajabi® cost?

The subscription is the easiest part of Kajabi® pricing to understand.

Other costs require a little more attention.

Payment processing

When a customer pays you by card, a payment service has to handle that transaction and transfer the money to you. That service charges a processing fee, usually calculated as a percentage of the sale plus a small fixed amount.

If you're selling through Kajabi®, payments still need to be processed.

Kajabi®'s current US Kajabi® Payments card rates are:

← Swipe to see all rates →

PlanUS Kajabi® Payments card rate
Basic2.9% + $0.30
Growth2.8% + $0.30
Pro2.7% + $0.30

For example, a 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee on a $100 card payment would be $3.20.

These figures are specifically for US entities. Payment-processing rates vary by country, so don't assume these rates apply wherever your business is based.

This distinction becomes increasingly important as your sales volume increases.

A difference of a fraction of a percentage point may seem trivial when you're starting out. At significant transaction volumes, it isn't.

Third-party payment provider fees

You don't necessarily have to use Kajabi Payments to take payments. Some businesses may instead use another payment company, such as Stripe. Kajabi® refers to these as third-party payment providers.

This is another area worth checking carefully.

On Kajabi®'s current new plans, an additional Kajabi® fee can apply when transactions are processed through a third-party provider such as Stripe in a region where Kajabi® Payments is available. Kajabi® says this fee does not apply to PayPal transactions, where Kajabi® Payments isn't available, or to customers who remain on eligible legacy plans.

Kajabi® currently lists:

  • Basic — 2%
  • Growth — 1%
  • Pro — 0.5%

That's potentially significant.

For example, if customers paid you a total of $100,000 through a third-party payment provider and Kajabi®'s additional 2% fee applied to those sales, the additional Kajabi® charge would be $2,000.

That would be on top of any processing fees charged by the payment company itself.

So don't evaluate a plan solely on its subscription price if you intend to use a different payment setup.

Optional extras

Some capabilities may also be included only with particular plans or available separately.

That means the cheapest plan capable of technically running your business isn't necessarily the cheapest configuration once you've added everything you want.

Before subscribing, we'd therefore make a list of the features that are genuinely essential to you and check those against the current plan comparison.

The Kajabi® cost people often overlook

There's another potential cost that won't appear on a Kajabi® invoice.

Paying for Kajabi® while continuing to pay for software Kajabi® was supposed to replace.

This is particularly easy to do with an all-in-one platform.

You may already have an email marketing system you like.

Your website may already be somewhere else.

Perhaps you've built sophisticated landing pages in another platform.

Maybe your team uses other automation or CRM tools.

Then you add Kajabi®.

Suddenly, instead of consolidating the different software and services you use to run your business, you've simply added another substantial subscription to it.

We know this because our own use of Kajabi® has historically been fairly narrow.

We've primarily used Kajabi® to provide private clients with access to training, tools and resources. We haven't moved our entire marketing operation onto Kajabi®.

There's nothing inherently wrong with using Kajabi® that way.

But it changes the economics.

If you're paying for an all-in-one platform while only using a small part of it, you shouldn't calculate its value based on the theoretical cost of all the software it could replace.

You should calculate its value based on what it actually replaces in your business.

Is Kajabi® expensive?

Our answer is:

It depends what you're comparing it with.

Compared with a simple, single-purpose tool, Kajabi® can look expensive.

Someone who merely needs somewhere to host one small online course may be able to solve that problem for substantially less than $179 per month.

But that's not really what Kajabi® is trying to be.

Kajabi® combines products, websites, landing pages, email marketing, funnels, communities, payments and other functionality in one ecosystem.

If you genuinely need several of those things, the comparison changes.

If your website and organic search are an important part of the calculation, we've also looked specifically at whether Kajabi® is SEO friendly and where its SEO limitations lie.

Kajabi® itself recently illustrated this by comparing its Growth plan with a stack consisting of Teachable, Circle, Kit and ClickFunnels. Using prices Kajabi® checked in July 2026, it calculated that combination at $308 per month compared with $249 for Growth on monthly billing.

But we'd add an important qualification to that calculation:

You only save the cost of software you would genuinely have bought.

If you don't need a separate community platform, its hypothetical price isn't a Kajabi® saving.

If you don't need sophisticated funnels, don't count an expensive funnel platform as a saving.

And if you're perfectly happy with a cheaper email system, replacing it with Kajabi® doesn't automatically create value simply because Kajabi® includes email.

So we think there are three quite different answers to “Is Kajabi® expensive?”

Yes, potentially — if you only need one or two of its functions.

Not necessarily — if it genuinely replaces several subscriptions you would otherwise pay for.

Potentially very expensive — if you subscribe to Kajabi® but continue paying for most of those other systems anyway.

Our guide to the pros and cons of Kajabi® explores this trade-off in more detail, including when the convenience of an all-in-one platform may outweigh the advantages of using separate specialist tools.

Three examples: what might Kajabi® really cost you?

Let's make this more practical.

1. The beginner with one course

Imagine you're creating your first course.

You have a small email list, one product and relatively straightforward requirements.

Basic at $179 per month would probably provide far more capacity than you initially need.

But that's not necessarily a reason to buy it.

At this stage, we'd ask whether you genuinely need Kajabi®'s integrated website, marketing, funnels, community and other functionality — or whether a narrower, cheaper solution would allow you to validate the idea first.

For this buyer, Kajabi® may be excellent software but premature expenditure.

2. The established coach or expert

Now imagine an established coach with several programmes, a growing email database, regular marketing campaigns, automated follow-up, a client community and perhaps an assistant or small team.

This is a very different calculation.

Growth at $249 per month might replace or consolidate several systems this business genuinely needs.

The question is no longer:

Can I find course software for less than $249?

Of course you can.

The question becomes:

What would I otherwise spend — in money and complexity — creating the complete system my business needs?

For this buyer, Kajabi® may start to look considerably better value.

3. The scaling knowledge business

Finally, consider a larger business with numerous products, a substantial database, multiple team members and more sophisticated requirements.

Growth may still be sufficient.

If it isn't, Pro provides dramatically higher limits and additional capabilities — but at $499 per month, we'd want a very clear business reason for upgrading.

Don't choose Pro because it sounds like the plan a successful business should have.

Choose it because something your business genuinely needs requires it.

Which Kajabi® plan offers the best value?

There isn't a universally best-value Kajabi® plan.

For a smaller business that genuinely wants Kajabi®'s integrated platform, Basic may be entirely sufficient.

For an established knowledge business making meaningful use of Kajabi®'s marketing, automation and delivery capabilities, Growth may provide the most natural balance between capacity and cost.

Pro makes sense when its substantially higher limits or additional capabilities solve a real requirement.

But there's an even more fundamental question to answer before choosing between Basic, Growth and Pro:

Should you be paying for Kajabi® in the first place?

Choosing the cheapest appropriate Kajabi® plan is still poor value if Kajabi® itself isn't the right platform for what you're building.

Before you choose a Kajabi® plan

If you've arrived here because you were simply trying to understand what Kajabi® costs, the headline answer is straightforward:

Basic: $179/month

Growth: $249/month

Pro: $499/month

or $143, $199 and $399 per month respectively when billed annually at the time this article was checked.

But we'd recommend making the decision in a different order.

First ask:

What do I actually need my platform to do?

Then:

Is Kajabi® the right way to do it?

Only then:

Which Kajabi® plan do I need?
